Susan G. Komen

The Greater NYC Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure disburses up to 75% of its net income to local community-based breast health programs for the medically underserved in the five boroughs of New York City, Rockland and Westchester Counties, and on Long Island.  In 2009 Komen Greater NYC awarded $2.6 million in grants to 40 local breast health organizations and hospitals and over $1.3 million for national peer-reviewed research programs. This funding would not be possible without the support of dedicated and generous individuals who share our vision of a world without breast cancer.
